There is a lot of speculations lately about the location of the Assassin's Creed 5. Main directions are: Egypt, French Revolution, Russia.

If I am CEO of Ubisoft - the AC5 game will happen in China and I have strong economic reasons why.



1. To maintain company growth, Ubisoft need to start serious sales in China.

2. Game consoles (PS3, Xbox, Wii) were banned in China. Ban was suspended in January 2014 - right year to build sales in China.

3. The best way to get Chinese people involved to the Assassin's Creed franchise - is to make story based in China.

4. Ubisoft has enough resources in China to do this story - 2 private companies - Shanghai Ubi Computer Software Co. Ltd (China) and Chengdu Ubi Computer Software Co. Ltd (China) are fully operational. Game servers are ready in China.

5. Story in China will give great variety to the AC franchise - new locations, new culture, new weapons like hidden foot blades.

The main character is young lady assassin Shao Yun from China. She came to learn from Ezio Auditore how to rebuild the order to fight against the cruel Emperor.



Assassin's Creed game release (my opinion) will happen in October-November 2014. Why? The major franchise must be released annually in the recent economic conditions to keep company growth and market share.

The game name will contain number 5 "V" in the title, like "Assassin's Creed V ..." followed with the name. Why do I think so? It was a mistake to skip the sequence number in Brotherhood and Revelations because people got confused. When you are new to Assassin's Creed games - you don't really know where to start and which game is next. This is a typical mistake - a lot of companies did the same and learned in a hard way. So, there will be a number "V" in AC5 game title.
